新年快樂 （月亮和金星）

新年快樂 希望大家都有一個美好的 2009.對很多人來說,2008 不是好的一年，
希望2009會更好吧!!

Below is a couple of photos I took on New Years Eve from my drive way. Last day of 2008 happened to be the day that the Cresent Moon and a very bright Venus can be seen very close together. Earlier in Thankgiving day of 2008, there were actually 3 objects ( Crescent moon, Venus and Jupiter) together. I saw that with my naked eye very clearly, but was too busy to bring my camera out to the front yard. I got this one this time. Hope you enjoy! (On the first photo, the brighter oneis the Moon, and the other one is Venus)

聖誕相

其實在Halloween party 那篇和這一篇中間還有很多想寫,但有點累,遲再補寫吧!
今次的相不大好,有點梳如練習，也許明天再影一次吧。

Halloween Party

己經連續兩年Halloween都發起一些活動讓孩子們高興一下。今年雖然正在準備西岸的行程,還是勉力辦了一個costume party.

Mr. Potato 很多小孩都玩過,原來今時今日還有Mr. Pumpkin。「康」港太買了回,就用那天pumpkin patch 摘的南瓜去做。當然還是做人爸爸的我作主力。

曄!好耐無BLOG

今天check一下,才發覺已有一個多月沒有P〇ST了。看看picasa的相,都不知從可入手。最後決定跟日了POST。這數幅是Lea七個月大時影的。

阿「豆」出牙啦!

「女麻」「女麻」常說:七坐,八爬,九發牙。可能今時今日營養好些吧!阿「豆」才剛滿七個月,兩三星期前己經會坐了。前兩天為看到她「出牙仔」了,真快。

A Day at National Zoo

A Day at National Zoo

1) Got up at 7:30am
2) Had BreakFast
3) Mom went to get food for the Day trip ( Sandwiches and other stuff)
4) Left house at 11am
5) Arrived National Zoo at DC at 11:40am
6) Paid $15 for daily parking at Lot C
7) First exhibit, Invertebrate, Darren and I were both excited ( Much better than Baltimore Aquarium, IMO). Mom waited outside with Lea.
8) water fall/turtle and Prairie Dog
9) "Cats" - Lion and Tiger
10) Had lunch at a bench - sandwiches
11) Ape House
12) Darren called out loud, "a pig" right in front of the "Don't call me a pig" signed of the Peccary
13) Elephant ( Darren's Favorite) and Hippo (Mom Mom feed Lea)
14) Darren got over tired and started acting cranky.
15) Skipped Panda house and start walked back to parking lot
16) Darren smelt HotDog and wanted one, Papa refused to pay $5 for a Nathan hotdog.
17) Got back to car, fresh grapes for Darren
18) All got home safely

中文輸入法

有很多東西想寫,但手寫板大慢了。決心學習中文輸入法(先試倉頡吧)圖為自製中文鍵盤。

哥哥開心的一天時,妹妹著「青見」「青見」陪玩了一天。

Darren 開心的一天

一早到書局看書。之後到湖餵鴨。再之後去吃午飯。再之後看噴水池。回家午睡。醒後吃小點。和爸爸一起做前園的清理工作。回家吃晚飯。玩。洗白白。故事時問。睡覺。

新版

"「康」港仔在美國" 有新版了。最主要是加了把文章分門別類的工能。只要按上你喜愛的類別,她會把其他的文章濾掉了。還曾設一些小工具,如slide-sh0w,和問卷等。希望大家喜歡。還有,請千萬要回右邊的小問卷!

老師的評語 - 一「天」一驚心

Darren仔已經上學三星期了(九堂)。這間學校有一個叫作Carpool的運作。每次接Darren我們就把車子在校間前停署,老師就會一個學生跟一個學生帶出來到家長們的車前,然後跟我們說一、兩句評語。以下是Darren首五天得到的平語。

First Day: He is not listening, we are working on him.
第一天:他不聽話,我們會好好教導他。

Second Day: He tried to hit other student, when I tried to stop him, he hit me too. We will work on him.
第二天:他打人,我阻止他時,他連我也打。我們會好好教導他。

Third Day: He had a good day, keep working on him.
第三天:今天很好,綻續吧!

Forth Day: He threw sand at others, and got threw back. Probably need some cleaning up.
第四天:他向別投沙,別的小孩也把沙投向他。小心清潔他吧!

Fifth Day: He tried to take things from other students hands, and they let him knew about it. ( Translation: they hit him)
第五天:他嘗試拿人家手上的東西,人家清楚讓他知道這是不可以的。(即是他被人家打了)


真是一「天」一驚心。還好現在他已好一點了,沒有再被投數了。

昨天是Darren仔第一天上pre-School。

累了,終於到了午睡時間。

SNOOPY

首先,snoopy 沒有事,只是看過康少奶send來的一篇文章,有感而發吧了!文章是 Jim Willis - How Could You? 有網友把它 translate 成中文。看過文章後,希望曾勸過我們放棄 Snoopy 的親友們會改觀吧!自己看過後也有一點內疚,自從有了Darren後,已經沒有對sn00py那麼好了。現在又有了Lea,就更加沒有時間給Snoopy。以往當我買了新的相機或鏡頭,牠都一定是我試機的不二之選。以經驗老到的Snoopy也會熟練露出牠的招牌可愛笑容。想不到今天要寫這篇文章,要找一張S00NY的相,竟要追朔到2006年的Halloween,真的要自我檢討一下。Snoopy己經八歲了,現在已開始現老態了,想不到這個BL0G開了這麼久才第一次寫有關Snoopy的文章,看來我真的太小理牠了。

又一張Brother and Sister

Darren and Lea - Darren 最怕就是我們忘記了他,只顧著妺妺。因此無論妺妺做什麼,他都會「My turn! My turn!」(倫到我了!)的叫,並立克做妹妹做的動作,就像這張相一樣。

School Open House Day

明日上課前,先在今天來一個Open house,讓學生們先和父母一起到班房熟習一下環景。到明天正式上課,我們就不可以到班房了。
